Ingredients
  

Meat

  • 1 lb spicy venison sausage, casings removed

Vegetables

  • 2 large bell peppers, thinly sliced (1 red, 1 yellow)
  • 1 medium yellow onion, thinly sliced

Oils & Spices

  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock

Salt

  • to taste Salt, to season

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add sausage; cook until browned, then push to side.
  • Add peppers and onion; sauté until soft.
  • Stir in paprika and red pepper flakes, then add chicken stock and simmer 2 minutes.
  • Season with salt, stir, and remove from heat.

Notes

Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spice level.
