Ingredients
  

Meat

  • 4 pieces cube steaks

Breading

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper

Egg wash

  • 2 large eggs beaten

Frying oil

  • Oil for frying oil for deep frying

Optional gravy

  • Cream gravy (optional) cream gravy for serving

Instructions
 

  • Season cube steaks with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Place flour in a shallow dish.
  • Dip steaks in flour, then in beaten eggs, and coat again in flour.
  • Heat oil to 365°F (185°C) in a deep skillet.
  • Fry steaks for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Drain and serve with gravy if desired.

Notes

Ensure oil is hot enough before frying to achieve a crispy crust.
