  • 2 pounds Beef Tenderloin (Trimmed of silverskin.)
  • 2 teaspoons Coarse Kosher Salt Enhances natural flavors.
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly Cracked Black Pepper Adds subtle spice.
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil Used for searing.
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter Base of the garlic sauce.
  • 6 cloves Fresh Garlic Minced for the sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Fresh Parsley For garnish.
  • Fresh Thyme or Rosemary For added flavor.
  • Seasonal Vegetables Asparagus, Brussels sprouts, or carrots.
  • Creamy Mashed Potatoes or Fluffy Rice To soak up the sauce.

Instructions
 

  • Bring the beef to room temperature, then season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet, sear the beef 3-4 minutes per side, then transfer to oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes.
  • While roasting, melt butter and cook minced garlic for 1-2 minutes to make the garlic butter sauce.
  • Rest the beef for 10-15 minutes, then slice into 1-inch medallions, drizzle with garlic butter, and garnish with parsley.
  • Serve with your choice of vegetables and sides.

Let the beef rest before slicing to retain juices and ensure tenderness.
