Ingredients
  

Cake and Filling

  • 1 package white cake mix
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 box lime jello powder
  • optional electric green gel food coloring optional
  • 1 can vanilla frosting
  • 2 bags black candy melts
  • 23 treat sticks 8-inch treat sticks
  • 1 cup orange candy melts
  • 1 cup yellow candy melts
  • 1 cup lime green candy melts
  • green pearl sprinkles (in assorted sizes) green pearl sprinkles for decoration

Instructions
 

  • Bake the cake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9x13-inch pan, mix cake ingredients, bake for 34-38 minutes, then cool and crumble.
  • Form cake balls: Mix crumbled cake with half the frosting, shape into 1.5-inch balls, freeze for 15 minutes, then reshape and freeze for another 30 minutes.
  • Melt black candy melts, dip treat sticks in melted candy, insert into cake balls, and chill to harden.
  • Dip cake pops in black candy melts, tap off excess, and chill to set.
  • Melt orange, yellow, and green candy melts separately. Use squeeze bottles to create flames with orange and yellow, then fill the top of the cauldron with green candy melts and drips down the sides. Decorate with sprinkles and chill to set.

Notes

Use enough candy to create a puddle effect for the cauldron top and work quickly when decorating with melted candies.
