Cranberry Sauce

fresh or frozen cranberries

orange juice

honey (or maple syrup*)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Bake 1 cup cranberries with 1 tsp olive oil for 20 minutes.
Sauté garlic and shallot in 1 tsp olive oil until softened, about 8-10 minutes.
Mix ground turkey, egg, apple, sage, parsley, almond flour, orange zest, salt, pepper, and sautéed shallot and garlic. Gently fold in baked cranberries.
Form mixture into 20 small meatballs and bake for 18 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Simmer cranberries, orange juice, and honey until cranberries pop. Blend into a sauce.
Brush meatballs with cranberry sauce, serve with remaining sauce on the side.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon to the cranberry sauce.
