add at the end if desired
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add apples, sweet potatoes, carrots, and spices; cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add ground turkey; cook until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in tomato paste, chili powder, sage, and salt; cook for 1 minute.
Add crushed and strained tomatoes; simmer on low for 20-30 minutes. Add kidney beans at the end if desired.
