A quick and delicious tuna wrap perfect for a light lunch or snack, combining fresh ingredients wrapped in warm tortillas.

Ingredients
  

Canned Tuna

  • 12 oz chunk light tuna in water one can

Vegetables and Nuts

  • 0.5 cup celery (diced) about 1 rib
  • 2 Tbsp walnuts (chopped)
  • 1 green onion green onion (sliced)
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.5 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 0.125 tsp black pepper (freshly cracked)
  • 0.125 tsp salt

Vegetables for Garnish

  • 1 Roma tomato Roma tomato (sliced thin)
  • 6 leaves romaine leaves (torn into 3” pieces)

Tortillas

  • 3 extra-large flour tortillas burrito-size tortillas

Instructions
 

  • Drain the tuna and prepare vegetables and nuts.
  • Mix tuna, celery, walnuts, green onion, mayonnaise, lemon juice, pepper, and salt.
  • Warm tortillas briefly in the microwave for 5-10 seconds each.
  • Layer lettuce, tomato slices, and tuna salad on each tortilla, then roll tightly and fold sides to seal.
  • Let the wraps sit seam side down to seal, then serve.

Notes

Using warm tortillas helps keep the wraps tight and closed.
