Ingredients
  

Tuna Patties

  • 2 cans skipjack tuna in water drained
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise for creaminess
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard to add a tangy kick
  • 2 teaspoons fresh garlic minced for that aromatic boost
  • 2 large eggs lightly beaten for binding
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt or ¼ teaspoon of regular salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup fresh herbs chopped parsley or cilantro for freshness
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil extra-virgin, for that golden, crispy fry

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 170°F to keep patties warm.
  • Drain and flake tuna in a bowl, then mix in mayo, mustard, garlic, eggs, salt, pepper, and herbs.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet, scoop tuna mixture into mounds, and flatten gently.
  • Fry patties for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown, then transfer to the warm oven.
  • Serve immediately, enjoy on their own, with salad, or in a sandwich!

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding different herbs or spices to the mixture!
