Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Spread bread cubes in the dish and whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
Pour egg mixture over bread, pressing down lightly, and drizzle melted butter on top.
Let sit for 10 minutes, then bake uncovered for 40 minutes until golden brown.
Cool slightly before serving warm with syrup, powdered sugar, or berries.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of nutmeg or top with fresh fruit.
