Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
Mash 3-4 ripe bananas in a large bowl. Add melted butter and mix until smooth.
Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
Whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Fold into the banana mixture until just combined.
Fold in nuts if using. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Notes
For an extra crunch, toast the nuts before adding them to the batter.
