Ingredients
  

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cans strawberry pie filling 21 oz each
  • 2 packages cream cheese 8 oz each, softened
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 container whipped topping 8 oz, thawed
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries halved or whole, optional for garnish
  • powdered sugar optional, for dusting

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Spread strawberry pie filling evenly on the bottom of the baking dish.
  • Spoon and gently spread the cheesecake mixture over the strawberry layer. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly on top and drizzle with melted butter.
  • Bake for 40–45 minutes until the top is golden and bubbling. Let cool for 30 minutes. Chill for firmer layers if desired.
  • Top with whipped topping and garnish with fresh strawberries and powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

For a firmer texture, refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours before serving. Fresh strawberries add a lovely pop of color and freshness to the dish.
