Thanksgiving Turkey Veggie Tray

A fun and festive veggie platter shaped like a turkey, perfect for holiday gatherings and kids' parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 small shallow bowl veggie dip (pick your favorite – sour cream based, hummus, tzatziki, etc.)
  • 2 pecan halves pecan halves (or candied pecans)
  • 1 mini orange or yellow pepper mini orange or yellow pepper (for the wings)
  • 1 circle shaped piece white or creamy colored cheese see notes
  • 2 candy eyeballs candy eyeballs (or small slices of black olives)
  • 1 baby carrot baby carrot (for the beak)
  • 1 small strip red bell pepper (for the snood or wattle)
  • variety of raw veggies variety of raw veggies see notes
  • 1 round board or platter round board or platter (any size, mine was 14 inches)
  • 1 small shallow bowl small shallow bowl for the dip

Instructions
 

  • Place the veggie dip in a small shallow bowl near the bottom center of the platter.
  • Arrange two pecan halves below the dip for the feet, securing with honey if needed.
  • Cut mini orange or yellow pepper in half lengthwise and place on either side of the dip for the wings.
  • Layer rainbow-colored veggies in arcs from top to bottom, starting with cucumber slices, then bell peppers, cauliflower, carrots, and snow peas.
  • Place the cheese circle above the dip, then add candy eyeballs, a baby carrot beak, and a red bell pepper strip for the snood.

Notes

Use a variety of colorful veggies for a vibrant presentation and fun shape.
