Ingredients
  

Protein

  • 500 g beef mince ground beef

Vegetables & Herbs

  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 3 tbsp coriander/cilantro leaves roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce Trident
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar sub cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic minced using garlic crusher
  • 2 tbsp lime juice sub rice vinegar when limes are expensive

Carbohydrate

  • 2 batches jasmine rice or other plain rice

Vegetables & Garnishes

  • Steamed or fresh veg Steamed or fresh vegetables chopped cucumber, coriander/cilantro, red onion finely sliced

Instructions
 

  • Cook jasmine rice according to package instructions.
  • Heat canola oil in a pan, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
  • Add beef mince and cook until browned.
  • Stir in sweet chilli sauce, fish sauce, rice vinegar, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and lime juice. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve beef over rice with fresh herbs and vegetables.

Notes

Adjust lime and chili to taste for more or less heat and acidity.
