Instructions
Whisk egg, cube chicken, then coat with flour mixture.
Fry coated chicken until golden and cooked through, then drain.
Combine sugar, vinegars, ketchup, soy sauce, and water to make sauce.
Sauté garlic and ginger, add peppers and pineapple, then simmer sauce.
Mix fried chicken into sauce, garnish with green onions, and serve.
Notes
For extra crispiness, double coat the chicken and fry at 350°F.
