Ingredients
  

Dry ingredients

  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Wet ingredients

  • 1/2 cup plant-based milk
  • 3 Tbsp oil
  • 1 egg egg

Add-ins

  • 1/2 cup chopped California strawberries (fresh or frozen)

Other

  • cooking spray
  • Toppings (optional: pure maple syrup, fresh California strawberries)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat mini waffle maker and spray with cooking spray.
  • Mix oat flour, baking powder, milk, oil, and egg until smooth.
  • Gently fold in strawberries.
  • Pour 1/2 cup batter into waffle maker and cook until golden, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Repeat with remaining batter. Serve with optional toppings.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of cinnamon or vanilla to the batter.
