Strawberry Filling

fresh strawberries
(chopped)

cornstarch
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Prepare an 8x8 pan with parchment paper.
Mix dry ingredients and cut in cold butter until crumbly.
Add beaten egg and vanilla, then pat half into the pan.
Combine strawberries with sugar and cornstarch, then layer over crust.
Crumble remaining dough on top and bake for 45 minutes.
Notes
Cool completely before cutting into squares; refrigerate until serving.
