  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract (optional)

Frosting Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons heavy cream (as needed for consistency)

Toppings

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare cake pans.
  • Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  • Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs and extracts.
