Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Season salmon with salt and pepper.
Cook garlic in butter over medium heat for 30 seconds, then add maple syrup, BBQ sauce, and water. Simmer and add salmon, spooning glaze over for 5 minutes.
Transfer skillet to oven and roast for 5-8 minutes until cooked through. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges and rice.
