Sticky Garlic Butter Salmon

Ingredients
  

Salmon

  • 4 filets salmon filets
  • to taste kosher salt and pepper

Butter

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Garlic

  • 4 cloves garlic cloves minced
  • cup maple syrup or honey
  • 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce your favorite
  • ¼ cup water

Fresh Parsley

  • for serving chopped fresh parsley

Lemon Wedges

  • for serving lemon wedges

Rice

  • for serving rice

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Season salmon with salt and pepper.
  • Cook garlic in butter over medium heat for 30 seconds, then add maple syrup, BBQ sauce, and water. Simmer and add salmon, spooning glaze over for 5 minutes.
  • Transfer skillet to oven and roast for 5-8 minutes until cooked through. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges and rice.

Notes

Ensure not to overcook the salmon for best texture.
