Spinach Balls

Crispy, cheesy, and packed with spinach, these bite-sized balls are perfect as an appetizer or snack.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 eggs eggs beaten
  • 10 ounces frozen chopped spinach thawed and drained well
  • 6 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 tablespoons black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 cups Italian seasoned breadcrumbs see note
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.5 yellow onion yellow onion diced very small

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a baking sheet and set aside.
  • Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Using a 1 1/2 tablespoon cookie scoop, make 1 inch balls. Place them on the baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes or until they are golden brown. Serve and enjoy them while warm.

Notes

Make sure to squeeze out as much moisture from the spinach as possible before using it to avoid a soggy texture.
