Ingredients
  

Seafood

  • 1 lb fresh jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined)

Tortillas

  • 8 pieces soft corn or flour tortillas

Condiments

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

Fruits

  • 1 large ripe mango (diced)
  • 1/4 cup red onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 1 piece lime (juiced)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • optional toppings: sliced avocado (sour cream, queso fresco)

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the mango salsa by dicing the mango, chopping the onion and cilantro, then mixing with lime juice, salt, and pepper. Refrigerate.
  • Marinate the shrimp with olive oil, taco seasoning, and cayenne pepper for 15-30 minutes.
  • Cook the shrimp in a skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and charred.
  • Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  • Assemble the tacos by placing shrimp on each tortilla and topping with mango salsa and optional toppings. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a squeeze of lime over the assembled tacos.
