Ingredients
  

Dry ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup plain thick yogurt Greek yogurt preferred for higher protein
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2-4 tablespoons warm water add only if dough feels dry

Optional toppings

  • chopped parsley or cilantro for topping
  • 2 tablespoons unflavored whey protein or chickpea flour recommended for protein boost

Instructions
 

  • Mix flour, salt, baking powder, and optional protein powder in a bowl.
  • Add yogurt and oil; combine into a crumbly mixture, then knead into a soft dough. Add water if needed.
  • Divide dough into 6 balls, roll into thin rounds.
  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Cook flatbreads 1-2 minutes per side until golden and bubbly.
  • Optional: brush with butter/oil and sprinkle herbs. Stack to keep soft.

Notes

Use Greek yogurt for higher protein content and adjust water as needed for dough consistency.
