Instructions
Activate the yeast by mixing it with warm water and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
Mix flour, salt, and yeast mixture. Add oil and combine until a dough forms.
Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough, shape into a loaf, and let rise for another 20 minutes.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Brush with beaten egg during the last 10 minutes.
