Instructions
Mix warm water, yeast, and honey; let foam. If no foam, do not proceed.
Combine yeast mixture with milk, butter, egg, salt, and 5 cups flour. Mix and add more flour until dough pulls away from bowl.
Knead for 7-10 minutes until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
Divide dough, shape into logs, place in pans, and let rise for another hour.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35-40 minutes. Optional: brush with butter.
