Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 2 cups white-whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 cups nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)

Toppings

  • coarse sea salt or kosher salt for sprinkling Optional

  • spicy mustard, warm marinara Optional dips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Add yogurt and knead into a smooth dough. Divide into 8 pieces and roll into ropes.
  • Shape each rope into a pretzel, place on baking sheet, brush with beaten egg, and sprinkle with salt.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden. For crispier pretzels, bake an extra 3-5 minutes.

Notes

Start with a small amount of flour if dough sticks to your hands, and add more as needed.
