Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets.
Beat butter, sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
Mix flour, baking soda, salt, and cream of tartar; combine with wet ingredients.
Shape dough into balls, roll in cinnamon-sugar, and place on baking sheet.
Bake for 9-11 minutes, let cool, then coat in cinnamon-sugar.
Notes
For best results, do not overmix the dough to keep cookies soft.
