Ingredients
  

Meat

  • 2 lbs cube steaks about 4 steaks
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 large red onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 1/4 cups beef broth
  • 1 oz Lipton onion soup mix
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • 3 tablespoons corn starch

Instructions
 

  • Season steaks with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour mixture.
  • Brown steaks in butter, then set aside.
  • Sauté onions until soft, add garlic, then stir in beef broth and onion soup mix.
  • Mix water and cornstarch, add to sauce, simmer until thickened.
  • Return steaks to skillet, simmer 2-3 minutes, then serve with parsley.

Notes

Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
