bell peppers (red, yellow, or green)

lean ground beef or turkey

cup
uncooked white or brown rice
1
medium
onion, finely chopped

garlic, minced

tomato sauce

Italian seasoning
to taste
Salt and pepper
Instructions
Wash peppers, slice tops, and remove seeds.
Brown meat with onions and garlic; drain excess fat.
Mix cooked meat, rice, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and spices.
Stuff peppers with filling and place in slow cooker.
Pour remaining sauce over peppers; cook on low 6 hrs or high 3 hrs.
Remove and serve hot.
Notes
You can use any color of bell peppers for variety.
