Instructions
Step 1: Sear the chicken in a hot skillet until golden brown.

Step 4: Pour in chicken broth; add flour if desired for thickening.
Step 5: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

Notes
For a thicker stew, add flour during cooking and stir well.
