Sheet Pan Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

Dairy and Sugars

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 1.5 cups dark brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 large egg yolks, room temperature
  • 2 Tbsp. whole milk
  • 1.5 Tbsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 3.5 cups all purpose flour, spooned and leveled
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1.5 tsp. kosher salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips, plus more to sprinkle on top (semi sweet, milk chocolate, dark, etc.)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Spray a 13x18 inch sheet pan with nonstick spray.
  • Mix melted butter and sugars until smooth. Add eggs, yolks, milk, and vanilla; whisk until combined.
  • Stir in dry ingredients and fold until just combined. Add chocolate chips and fold gently.
  • Spread batter evenly on the prepared sheet. Top with extra chocolate chips if desired.
  • Bake for about 22 minutes until slightly underbaked. Cool completely before cutting into portions.

Notes

For best results, underbake slightly to keep cookies soft and chewy.
