Ingredients

Chicken

  • 4 breasts boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Sauce

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Coating

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil

Garnish

  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  • Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and marinate in soy sauce and cornstarch for 10 minutes.
  • Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and toss in the sauce until well coated. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.
  • Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

For extra crispiness, coat the marinated chicken in flour before frying. Use fresh sesame seeds for the best flavor.
