Instructions
 

  • Brown the beef in olive oil until seared on all sides, then transfer to slow cooker.
  • Sauté onions and garlic in the same pan, then add to the slow cooker.
  • Add carrots, potatoes, beef broth, wine, tomato paste, bay leaves, rosemary, and seasonings. Cook on low for 4 hours.
  • Mix corn starch with cold water and stir into stew; cook for an additional 30 minutes until thickened.
  • Stir in peas and optional Gravy Master before serving.
