Ingredients
  

Beef Patties

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons A1 steak sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon homemade steak seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 tablespoons butter divided
  • 1 medium onion (sliced thin)
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2.5 cups beef broth (or stock)
  • salt and freshly cracked pepper (to taste)
  • 8 oz sliced baby bella mushrooms

Instructions
 

  • Combine beef, egg, breadcrumbs, sauces, seasoning, garlic, and onion powder; form into 4 patties.
  • Cook patties in melted butter for 5 minutes on each side; keep warm.
  • Discard excess grease, add butter, and cook onions until translucent.
  • Add flour, cook until browned, then stir in broth and thicken.
  • Add mushrooms and patties; simmer until mushrooms are tender.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or vegetables.

Notes

Pair with warm bread to soak up the gravy.
