Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves roasted garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  • Add flour, olive oil, roasted garlic, rosemary, and salt to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 30-40 minutes until doubled in size.
  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Punch down dough, shape into a round or oblong loaf, and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
  • Let bread cool on a wire rack for at least 10-15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a crisper crust, bake the bread directly on a preheated stone or baking steel. Letting the bread cool completely before slicing will yield a better texture.
