Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch square pan and line with parchment.
Melt butter in a saucepan until browned and fragrant. Cool slightly.
Slice peaches into 1/2-inch pieces and mix with sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, corn starch, and salt.
Combine flour, sugars, baking powder, and salt. Add browned butter and mix until crumbly.
Press about half of the crumble into the pan. Spread peach mixture over it, then top with remaining crumble.
Bake for 50-60 minutes until golden and bubbling. Cool, chill, then cut into bars.
Notes
Chill the bars before serving for best texture.
