  • 1 tbsp Corn or vegetable oil
  • 1 lb ground beef 80-85% lean
  • 0.25 cup red onions, diced small
  • 2 tbs green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1.25 cup sweet chili sauce (Panda Express)
  • 1.5 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp fresh minced ginger
  • 4 tsp fresh minced garlic
  • to taste garlic and onion powder a pinch or two of each
  • 0.25 tsp crushed red pepper for taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, onions, ginger, and garlic; cook until browned and crumbles.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, sesame oil, fish sauce, vinegar, and minced garlic and ginger.
  • Pour sauce over cooked beef mixture and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with green onions and optional shredded carrots.

Notes

Serve over white or fried rice for a complete meal.
