Ingredients
  

Base

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk, dairy or plant-based
  • 0.5 cup plain Greek yogurt or plant-based yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 0.5 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 large ripe banana, sliced
  • 1 ounce dark chocolate, chopped or chips
  • 2 tablespoons chopped nuts, such as walnuts or almonds, optional
  • Pinch optional sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Mix oats, milk, yogurt, chia seeds, maple syrup, and vanilla in a jar.
  • Refrigerate overnight or at least 6 hours.
  • Stir the mixture in the morning; add a splash of milk if needed.
  • Divide into two bowls or jars.
  • Top with banana slices, chocolate, nuts, and a pinch of sea salt if desired.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy.
