  • 1 pack (8 ounces) softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, split
  • 2 cups blueberries, divided
  • 2 loaves cubed french bread
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and half the vanilla until smooth.
  • Layer half of the cubed bread in a greased baking dish, spread the cream cheese mixture, and top with blueberries.
  • Add the remaining bread cubes and blueberries on top.
  • In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and remaining vanilla; pour over the bread.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes until golden.

Notes

For best results, let the casserole sit overnight to absorb flavors.
