Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F/180C. Mix seasoned flour and reserve 1/4 cup for thickening.
Dredge steaks in flour, brown in skillet with 1 tablespoon oil, then remove.
Sauté mushrooms until brown, then remove. Make a roux with butter and reserved flour.
Whisk in beef stock, pour gravy over steaks and mushrooms, cover, and bake for 2 hours.
Notes
Ensure to brown the steaks well for added flavor.
