Ingredients
  

Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Aromatics

  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced

Grains

  • 1 cup long-grain white rice

Broth & Sauces

  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley or thyme, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce

To taste

  • Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Chop garlic, measure rice, and trim excess fat from chicken.
  • Heat olive oil and butter in a large pot. Sauté garlic until fragrant, then cook chicken until browned.
  • Stir in rice, chicken broth, and soy sauce. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, stir in herbs, and fluff before serving.

Notes

Ensure rice is fully cooked and chicken is tender before serving.
