One Pot Chicken Parmesan Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz egg noodles
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 3 cups water
  • 1.5 lb chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Add chicken to a medium bowl and top with breadcrumbs. Mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, combine noodles, marinara sauce, and water. Mix well.
  • Spread noodles evenly into the prepared baking dish. Top with chicken. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove foil, stir mixture, and top with cheese. Bake for an additional 15 minutes. Optionally, broil on HIGH to brown the cheese.

Notes

For extra crispy topping, broil for 2-3 minutes after adding cheese. Serve hot and enjoy!
