  • 12 oz pasta (spaghetti, penne, or rotini)

Ground Beef

  • 1 lb ground beef

Garlic

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Spinach

  • 2 cups fresh spinach

Chicken Broth

  • 1.5 cups chicken broth

Heavy Cream

  • 1 cup heavy cream

Parmesan Cheese

  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Cream Cheese

  • 2 oz cream cheese (optional)

Red Pepper Flakes

  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Olive Oil or Butter

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter

Italian Seasoning

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and Black Pepper

Fresh Parsley

Extra Parmesan

Instructions
 

  • Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add ground beef, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning; brown until no pink remains.
  • Push beef aside, add minced garlic; cook 30 seconds. Stir in spinach until wilted. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, scraping browned bits.
  • Add pasta, bring to boil, then simmer covered for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in Parmesan and cream cheese (if using); mix until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • Serve hot, garnished with parsley, extra Parmesan, and cracked pepper.

Notes

For a richer flavor, let the sauce simmer longer to deepen the taste.
