Instructions
Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook in a skillet with olive oil until golden and cooked through, then set aside.
Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet until fragrant. Add diced tomatoes, chicken broth, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning; simmer.
Stir in uncooked penne pasta, cover, and cook until pasta is al dente, about 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Slice cooked chicken and return to skillet. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Garnish with basil and serve.
Notes
Ensure pasta is mostly submerged in sauce for even cooking.
