  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 cup onion minced
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • Salt to taste Salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp rosemary
  • 3 bay leaves bay leaves
  • 2 cups stock beef or chicken
  • 1 cup penne pasta
  • 0.75 cup heavy cream cashew cream coconut milk
  • 0.25 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Parsley chopped for garnish Parsley for garnish
  • Black pepper for garnish Black pepper for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add minced onion and garlic; cook until fragrant.
  • Add ground beef, cook until browned. Stir in paprika, rosemary, salt, and bay leaves.
  • Pour in stock and bring to a simmer. Add pasta and cook until al dente.
  • Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese; cook until sauce thickens. Remove bay leaves.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and black pepper before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, let the sauce simmer longer to deepen the taste.
