Old Fashioned Tuna Pasta Salad

A creamy, flavorful pasta salad combining tuna, fresh veggies, and herbs, perfect for a quick lunch or picnic.

Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 12 oz medium pasta shells
  • 2 cans tuna packed in oil (drained)
  • 1 cup frozen peas (thawed slightly)
  • 0.5 cup celery (thinly sliced)
  • 0.5 cup red onion (diced)
  • 0.5 cup mayo
  • 0.5 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2-3 tsp dill relish
  • 1.5 tsp Dijon mustard
  • to taste salt & pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and cool.
  • Mix cooked pasta, red onion, celery, peas, and tuna in a large bowl.
  • Whisk together mayo, Greek yogurt, dill, garlic, relish, and mustard to make dressing.
  • Add dressing to pasta mixture, toss to coat, and adjust seasoning.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, then serve garnished with dill and pepper.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for some of the mayo.
