Instructions
Bake the cake mix according to instructions using 2 tbsp of butter/oil. Cool and crumble the cake.
Mix crumbled cake with cream cheese frosting until well combined. Chill for 30-60 minutes.
Form mixture into uniform balls, chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Melt candy melts in microwave or using a melting pot. Dip each ball fully into the chocolate, then swirl and tap to remove excess.
Place coated balls on parchment, add sprinkles while wet, and let set for about an hour.
Notes
Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure smooth coating.
