Ingredients

Baking Supplies

  • 2 tablespoons nonstick cooking spray
  • 8 ounces unsalted butter cut into tablespoons
  • 6 ounces dark chocolate roughly chopped
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups granulated sugar divided
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 ounces dark chocolate roughly chopped
  • 36 small candy eyeballs

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x9-inch pan with parchment and spray with cooking spray.
  • Melt butter and chocolate over a double boiler, then whisk in 1 cup sugar. Whisk eggs with remaining sugar, then combine with chocolate mixture. Fold in flour and salt, then bake for 35-40 minutes.
  • Cool brownies completely. Prepare ganache by heating cream and whisking in chopped chocolate until smooth. Chill until firm.
  • Cut brownies into 6x3 strips. Pipe ganache over brownies to resemble mummy wrapping, then place 2 eyeballs on each.

Notes

Use a piping bag for neat mummy wrapping and place eyeballs carefully for a spooky effect.
