Ingredients
  

Protein

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for spice)
  • to taste Salt and black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage or coleslaw mix
  • 0.5 cup diced tomatoes or salsa
  • 0.25 cup chopped red onion
  • 1 avocado sliced or mashed avocado
  • 0.25 cup nonfat Greek yogurt or low-fat sour cream

Garnish

  • to taste Fresh cilantro and lime wedges
  • 8 small corn or low-carb flour tortillas

Instructions
 

  • Toss shrimp with oil, paprika, garlic, onion, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook shrimp in a skillet 2–3 minutes per side until pink and crispy. Remove and set aside.
  • Prepare vegetables: shred cabbage, dice tomatoes, slice avocado, chop onions and cilantro.
  • Warm tortillas briefly to make pliable.
  • Assemble tacos: distribute shrimp, top with vegetables, avocado, yogurt, cilantro, and lime.

Notes

For extra flavor, squeeze fresh lime over the tacos before serving.
