Ingredients
  

Walnuts

  • 1 cup raw walnuts

Sauces and seasonings

  • 2 teaspoons liquid aminos (or gluten free soy sauce or regular lite soy sauce)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 0.5 tablespoon sriracha
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or 1 tablespoon date syrup
  • 0.25 teaspoon sesame seeds

Vegetables

  • 3 leaves curly lettuce leaves (washed and dried) Take out of fridge right when you need it
  • 1 small carrot (shredded)
  • 0.25 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 stalk scallion (chopped)

Instructions
 

  • Toast walnuts if desired, then blend with garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sriracha, and maple syrup until well combined.
  • Mix the walnut sauce with shredded carrots, sliced bell pepper, and chopped scallion.
  • Place a generous spoonful of the mixture onto each lettuce leaf and fold to serve.

Notes

Feel free to customize with your favorite veggies or add a squeeze of lime for extra flavor.
