Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and heat a cast iron skillet on the stovetop.
Mix herbs, salt, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and garlic powder; season chicken evenly on both sides.
Heat oil in skillet, sear chicken 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
Add lemon slices and herbs to the skillet, then transfer to oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
Rest chicken for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with potatoes and pesto if desired.

Ensure the internal temperature reaches 170°F for safe consumption.
