  • 2 pieces chicken breasts boneless skinless
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 lemon juiced and zested

Instructions
 

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Heat olive oil and butter, sear chicken until golden, then remove.
  • Sauté garlic in the same pan, add rice to toast, then pour in chicken broth and lemon juice.
  • Return chicken, cover, and simmer until rice is tender.
  • Rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with parsley and lemon slices.

Notes

For extra flavor, add fresh parsley or a dash of hot sauce.
